The Russian Spy

I was awoken abruptly by the sound of my alarm. At that instant I wanted to grab that clock and chuck it like a fastball out the bedroom door. I was sleepy as hell and still felt the puffiness of my eyes drooping down to my cheeks. The clock read approximately 6:00 AM and I reached for the snooze button. BAMM! A car door slammed angrily, so I quickly jumped out of bed, glanced out the window. They were here and by now it was to late. They found me and ironically they knew whom I had been working for. “Unknown” could no longer be my hideout. I swiftly got dressed and tied my hair back, reached far under the bed for my backpack fullyloaded with weapons and blueprints. I climbed out the window and took the fire escape down. I ran faster than the pace of my own heartbeat and climbed up the ten-foot gate and jumped over. I dropped to the floor and caught my breath as I looked back I saw the profile of five brawny men. I grabbed the pistol latched onto my calf and fired at the craziest man of them all. Teppei knew too much. He dropped slowly knees first followed by his face collapsing flat to the floor. He knew our secrets, and my scheme to ruin the American government. After all I am a Russian spy so I couldn’t flee the country without finishing him first.
